Wedding and party packages
This is a full and detailed price list so that there are no hidden extras. It can be so much cheaper hiring a Hall, rather than using a hotel or other venue that might have lower room hire charges could be so much more expensive on food and drinks.
Also bear in mind our venue can seat up to 400 for a wedding ceremony and host a wedding breakfast or a banquet for up to 350 people. If you book both halls, you can seat up to 600 guests. This makes us excellent value for money as well as being a superb setting.
We shall provide you with a detailed quote once we know your requirements. You will also be given a written contract to sign for hall hire and other major events such as weddings. Package A
The Pavilion at the Jubilee Ground across the road from the College. Can hold up to 120 and is avaiable from 12 noon to midnight. You may NOT bring your own drinks to this venue. Price is £750 or FREE if we provide the catering (minimum number = 60)
Package B
Both the Great Hall and the Refectory (pictured above) made available for 9.5 hours to include ceremony (if required), wedding breakfast and party. Recommended for large parties, Hindu and Muslim weddings and events. Maximum guests 600. £5,500
Package C
Civil Ceremony in the Great Hall and reception in the Refectory. £3,600 - to include up to 1.5 hours in the Great Hall and eight hours in the Refectory. Additional time allowed free of charge for set up*. Maximum guests 350.
Package D
Civil Ceremony and Reception in the Great Hall: £3,300 - to cover a 9.5 hour period. Additional time allowed free of charge for set up*. Includes cleaning charge. Maximum guests for ceremony 400. Maximum guest for reception 250.
Package E
Party or Reception only in the Great Hall: £3,100 - to cover an eight hour period. Additional time allowed free of charge for set up*. Maximum guests 250.
Package F
Party or Reception only in the Refectory: £3,300 - to cover an eight hour period. Additional time allowed free of charge for set up*.
All packages include set up, clearance and cleaning.

All packages include rooms for bridal party to prepare, meet with the Registrar (where applicable) and to change.

Additional charges:
1. Catering:
It is a condition of Hall/Venue hire that you use one of our nominated caterers if you are planning to serve food. You will agree the menu and price with them and pay them direct. You may not provide your own catering. For information on our list of nominated caterers, please click here.
2. Drinks
We offer full bar facilities where we charge pub as opposed to hotel and restaurant prices. To see what options are available for pay bar, click here to visit our partner's website. You can also bring in your own drinks by paying a corkage fee of just £3 per adult. This covers drinks served at the table during the meal AND alows you to bing in yuor own drinks for the party afterwards. It is a condition that we run the bar which is why we charge £3 per head to cover staff wages. This service is NOT available at the Pavilion where patrons MUST use our bar.
3. Decorating
You can use up to 40 of our tables (rectangular) and 400 chairs free of charge as part of the package. if you want round tables and chair covers then we have special arrangements with Cameo and Hallmark - two local companies. Both companies also do linen and glass hire but you may get that included in the price from your caterers. You may also decorate the hall and tables to your own taste
4. Parking
We can offer up to 110 on site car parking spaces (subject to availability). We charge £40 for the hour leading up to your wedding to have two members of staff on duty to park your guests safely on the site. The bridal party will park on the driveway in front of the main doors or in our under cover car park free of charge. We also have space to park a coach.
5. Additional hours
Our main packages include 9.5 hours if you hold a Civil Ceremony and Reception with us or 8 hours for reception only. If you need extra hours, these will be charged out at the special price of just £100.00 per hour IF REQUESTED AT THE TIME OF YOUR BOOKING. However, should your event OVER-RUN then the charge for that will be £270 an hour.
